Retrovesikales Fibrosarkom nach Seminombestrahlung - Kasuistik und Immunhistochemie
Retrovesical Fibrosarcoma After Irradiation of Seminoma: Case Report and ImmunohistochemistryPublication History
Publication Date:
28 April 2008 (online)
Abstract
18 years after semicastration and irradiation of a seminoma on the right, a retrovesical tumour involving the left seminal vesicle became clinically manifest in a patient of 41 years of age. To our knowledge an exact histopathological classification was achieved besides routine histology for the first time in a tumour of this type (namely, a urological tumour) via imunohistochemical monoclonal antibody techniques. The tumour was thus identified as a low-grade fibrosarcoma. This made it possible to extirpate the tumour while the patient was healthy. Reports in the literature have been published so far only on 8 other retrovesical mesenchymal tumours, mostly leiomyomas, but in no case after irradiating another primary tumour.
