Summary
A method for the automatical determination of the amplitude, the transmission time, the conduction velocity and the refractory period of sural nerve was evaluated by help of HISTO-MAT-S/MULTI 20 computer. The results of the automatical analysis were compared with those of the conventional method in 50 healthy control persons. There was no significant difference between the dates. Accuracy and correctness were exactly in the same range, but the investigation time of the analysis by help of a computer is much shorter.
Zusammenfassung
Zur automatischen Bestimmung der Laufzeitlatenzen, der Amplitude des Summenaktionspotentials und der Nervenleitgeschwindigkeit sowie der relativen Refraktärperiode im N. suralis ist ein Programm für die Signalanalyseeinheit HISTO MAT-S mit MULTI 20 Computer entwickelt. Die Ergebnisse der automatischen Analyse wurde an einer Gruppe von 50 gesunden Probanden im Alter zwischen 17 und 68 Jahren mit den Ergebnissen der dazu parallel laufenden zeichnerischen Auswertung kontrolliert. Die Gegenüberstellung beider Auswerteverfahren zeigte keine signifikanten Unterschiede hinsichtlich der Präzision und der Richtigkeit, doch ist der zeitliche Aufwand der automatischen Auswertung geringer.
