Die Bedeutung der Hodenszintigraphie in der Differentialdiagnostik des “akuten Skrotums”

Zusammenfassung

Bei 29 Patienten mit “akutem Skrotum” wurde als diagnostische Maßnahme neben der Sonographie auch die Hodenszintigraphie durchgeführt. Eine Hodentorsion konnte szinitgraphisch in 91 % der Fälle diagnostiziert werden. Auch die szintigraphische Sicherstellung einer Epididymitis bereitete keine großen Schwierigkeiten. Hydatiden-Torsionen konnten aber in keinem Fall szintigraphisch erkannt werden. Die Hodenszintigraphie ist ein sicheres diagnostisches Hilfsmittel zur differentialdiagnostischen Abklärung des “akuten Skrotums”.

Abstract

The authors report their results of testicular scintigraphy in 29 patients with acute scrotal pain. Testicular torsion could be diagnosed in 91 percent of the cases by testicular scintigraphy. Acute epididymitis could be diagnosed in six of seven cases. Only the acute torsions of hydatides could not be diagnosed by scintigraphy or sonography. Testicular scintigraphy is a safe and accurate method for the differential diagnosis of the “acute scrotum”.
