Zusammenfassung

Die Fournier-Gangrän wurde 1883 zum ersten Mal beschrieben. Es handelt sich um eine fulminante nekrotisierende Zellulitis des Perineums, die sich rasch ausbreitet und die Wand des äußeren Genitale zerstört. Sie erfordert eine frühzeitige radikale chirurgische Entfernung des nekrotischen Gewebes.

Abstract

Fournier's disease was first described in 1883. It is a fulminating, necrotizing cellulitis of the perineum that spreads quickly and destroys the full thickness of the scrotal wall. Active debridement of necrotic skin is necessary to provide drainage.
