Summary
In cases of traumatic shock the cardiovascular system adjusts as a reaction to physical stress. The organism reacts with a vagovasal drop with peripheral vessel dilation and hypotony as well as various psychogenic symptoms. Osteopathic treatment must be applied to the different levels of circulatory regulation to be able to regain cardiovascular homeostasis.
