Zusammenfassung
Bei 284 sonographischen Pankreasuntersuchungen konnte 9mal ein erweiterter Pankreashauptgang
festgestellt werden. In 6 Fällen handelte es sich um eine chronische Pankreatitis,
in 3 Fällen um einen Tumor. Die Ursache der Erweiterung konnte bei den chronischen
Entzündungen in allen 6 Fällen sonographisch festgestellt werden. Von den Tumoren
konnte nur einer wegen seiner Größe als Stenoseursache erkannt werden. Eine gleichzeitige
Erweiterung der Gallengänge war sowohl bei Entzündungen als auch bei Tumoren zu beobachten.
Summary
Amongst 284 sonographic examinations of the pancreas, dilatation of the main duct
was found in nine instances. Six cases were due to chronic pancreatitis and three
to tumour. In all the six cases due to chronic inflammation, the cause of the dilated
duct could be demonstrated sonographically. Only one of the tumours was recognised.
Simultaneous dilatation of the biliary tree was found in inflammatory and malignant
lesions.
