Zusammenfassung
Eine frühzeitig einsetzende Corticoidtherapie bei Sehnervenläsionen nach stumpfen Schädelhirntraumen stellt eine Alternative zur transethmoidalen Dekompression dar. Zur Verlaufskontrolle eignete sich dabei die statische Computerperimetrie ausgezeichnet.
Summary
Early commencement of therapy with corticosteroids in patients with optic nerve lesions after blunt head injuries is an alternative to transethmoidal decompression. Static computerized perimetry is eminently suitable for monitoring the course.
