Summary
A group of 22 patients with internal carotid thrombosis following head injuries, admitted to hospital during the last decade is discussed, particularly as regards the relationship between trauma and thrombosis seen from the aetiological, diagnostic and medico-legal aspects.
Zusammenfassung
Eine Gruppe von 22 Personen mit Thrombose der A. carotis interna nach Schädelhirntraumen, die während den vergangenen 10 Jahren behandelt wurden, werden besprochen unter Berücksichtigung der posttraumatischen Thrombose im Hinblick auf die Pathogenese, die Diagnose und die gerichtsmedizinischen Konsequenzen.
