Abstract

A two-liter cerebrospinal fluid pseudocyst complicating a ventriculoperitoneal shunt was drained and a distal catheter retrieved from the peritoneal cavity by laparoscopy. Adoption of such a minimally invasive approach allowed the prompt resolution of the complication and an early recovery for our patient.
