Zur Interpretation elektroretinographischer Befunde bei Uveitis posterior*

Zusammenfassung

An 30 Patienten mit entzündlichen oder postentzündlichen Veränderungen des Augenhintergrundes werden elektroretinographische Befunde analysiert. Die Veränderungen des skotopischen ERG sind abhängig von der Lokalisation sowie vom Ausmaß der Erkrankungen. Die einzelnen ERG-Anteile werden in unterschiedlichem Maße betroffen. Besonders auffallend ist die Tatsache, dass bei einseitiger Erkrankung in einem hohen Prozentsatz auch das ERG des Partnerauges verändert ist. Das könnte ein Ausdruck der immunologischen Mitreaktion sein. Es wird betont, dass noch umfangreiche Untersuchungen notwendig sind, um die vielschichtige Problematik einer Lösung zuzuführen.

Summary

The present paper deals with the electroretinographic findings in 30 patients with inflammatory or postinflammatory disturbances of the fundus. The alterations of the scotopic ERG depend on the localization and extent of the disease. The individual components of the ERG are affected differently. It is evident that in a high percentage of patients with unilateral disease the ERG of the fellow eye was affected as well. This might be due to an immunologic reaction. It is pointed out that further investigations are required in order to resolve the problems involved.
