Die Beziehung zwischen C3dg-Konzentration und Zellzahl in der Synovialflüssigkeit bei der chronischen Polyarthritis

Abstract

In synovial puncture fluids from patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis (n = 15), Bekhterev's disease (rheumatoid spondylitis) (n = 4) and primary arthrotic changes in the joints (n = 3), the concentration of the complement C3, of the C3 activation product C3dg, of total protein and the cell count were determined.

Up to 3.6 mg/dl C3dg and cell counts up to 22800/µl were found in the punctates of the inflammatory joint diseases. In the synovial fluids of the primarily arthrotic joints the maximum C3dg concentration was 0.45 mg/dl and the cell count 2600µg/1 at maximum. The C3dg concentration and the cell count of the examined samples showed good correlation (n = 22, p < 0.05, Pearsson's correlation), whereras the C3 concentration did not correlate with the cell count.

Zusammenfassung

In Synovialpunktaten von Patienten mit chronischer Polyarthritis (n = 15), Morbus Bechterew (n = 4) und primär arthrotischen Gelenksveränderungen (n = 3) wurden die Konzentrationen des Komplement C3, des C3-Aktivierungsproduktes C3dg, des GesamteiweiBes sowie die Zellzahl bestimmt. In den Punktaten der entzündlichen Gelenkserkrankungen wurden bis zu 3,6 mg/dl C3dg und Zellzahlen bis zu 22800/µl gefunden, in den Synovialflüssigkeiten der primär arthrotischen Gelenke erreichte die C3dg-Konzentration maximal 0,45 mg/dl und die Zellzahl maximal 2600/µ1. Die C3dg-Konzentration und die Zellzahl der untersuchten Proben zeigten eine gute Korrelation (n = 22, p < 0,05, Pearssons Korrelation), während die C3-Konzentration nicht zur Zellzahl korrelierte.
