Abstract
Three patients (two male/one female) with chip (clay shoveller's) fractures (whisplash
fractures) were treated in this hospital in the past four years. The spinous process
of the seventh cervical vertebral body was affected in one case each, and in one case
there was simultaneous involvement of the spinous process of the seventh cervical
and first thoracic body. The aetiology and pathogenesis, symptoms, clinical and radiological
findings, localization, diagnostic procedures, therapy, prognosis, differential diagnosis
as well as the expert appraisal of this disease is reported
Zusammenfassung
In den vergangenen vier Jahren wurden 3 Patienten (2 Männlich/1 Weiblich) mit Schipperfrakturen
(Schleuderbrüchen) behandelt. Je einmal war der Dornfortsatz des 7. Halswirbelkörpers,
in einem Fall gleichzeitig der Processus spinosus vom 7. Hals- und 1. Brustwirbelkörper
betroffen. Über Ätiologie und Pathogenese, Beschwerden, klinische und radiologische
Befunde, Lokalisation, diagnostisches Vorgehen, Therapie, Prognose, Differentialdiagnose
sowie Begutachtung dieser Erkrankung wird berichtet.
