Abstract
Results of 41 total shoulder replacements are presented. Resectioninterpositionarthroplasty
is a very problematic procedure in bone destructive diseases. Follow ups with sonographic
examinations discredited the value of muscle reconstructions of the rotator cuff.
The MVS-System is an alternative for weak muscle and boneformations. First results
with this system are presented.
Zusammenfassung
Die Ergebnisse von 41 TEP-Versorgungen der Schulter werden vorgestellt. Alternative
Versorgungen mit Resektionsinterpositionsarthroplastiken zeigen gerade bei knochendestruktiven
Prozessen Probleme in der Versorgung. Bei Nachuntersuchungen mit sonographischer Kontrolle
zeigen sich die Rekonstruktionen der Rotatorenmanschette als hochgradig zweifelhaft.
Alternative endoprothetische Versorgungen und biomechanische Überlegungen zur endoprothetischen
Versorgung führten zur Konstruktion der MVS-Systeme, deren erste Ergebnisse präsentiert
werden.
