Zusammenfassung
Pflanzliche Sekundärstoffe stellen ein großes Potenzial neuer Wirkstoffe dar, das
erst ansatzweise erforscht ist. Neben unmittelbar antimikrobiellen Effekten beeinflussen
sie indirekt Vorgänge im Wirt, die für die Balance zwischen Mikroorganismus und Wirt
entscheidend sind. Der Artikel legt den Fokus auf Sekundärstoffe terrestrischer Pflanzen,
die zur Regulation des mikrobiellen Ökosystems Haustier eingesetzt werden können.
Zwei Aspekte werden dabei besonders herausgegriffen und exemplarisch dargestellt:
die antibiotische Hemmung pathogener Mikroorganismen und die Steigerung der Abwehrleistung
des Wirtes.
Summary
Plant secondary substances represent a large potential of new active ingredients,
which has been investigated only rudimentarily so far. In addition to the immediate
antimicrobial effects, these substances indirectly influence processes in the host,
which are important for the balance between microorganism and host. The article focuses
on the secondary substances of terrestrials plants, which can be used for the regulation
of the microbial ecosystem domestic animal. Two aspects are especially picked out
and shown exemplarily: the antibiotic inhibition of pathogenic microorganisms and
the enhancement of the defense performance of the host.
