Ein Fetus papyraceus bei Geminipartus am Termin*

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über eine Zwillingsschwangerschaft mit Geburt eines lebenden Kindes und eines Fetus papyraceus in der 39. SSW berichtet. Der intrauterine Fruchttod des einen Feten war ca. 20 Schwangerschaftswochen vor der Entbindung eingetreten und wird auf eine Kompression der plazentanahen Nabelschnurvene zurückgeführt. Der andere Zwillingspartner konnte sich intrauterin unbeeinträchtigt entwickeln, da eine fusionierte diamnial-dichoriale Geminiplazenta ohne Gefäßanastomosen vorlag.

Abstract

The article reports on a twin pregnancy with the birth of a living twin and of a foetus papyraceus in the 39th week of pregnancy. The intrauterine death of the foetus had occurred already after about 20 weeks of pregnancy before delivery and is ascribed to a compression of the umbilical vein near the placenta. The living twin developed in utero without any difficulty due to a fused, diamniotic, dichorionic twin placenta without vascular anastomoses.
