Abstract

A new ursane derivative, 3-oxo-15α,19α-dihydroxyursa-1,12-dien-28-oic acid, was isolated from the roots of Canthium multiflorum (Rubiaceae) along with 10-O-acetylgeniposidic acid, 6,7-dimethoxycoumarin, hymexelsin, scopoletin, and 5,6,7-trimethoxycoumarin.
