Abstract

Specific disturbances of renal tubular function are relatively rare. During the last five years we have seen lysinuric protein intolerance, the Fanconi syndrome, hereditary nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, and two patients with pseudohypoaldosteronism at the Children's Hospital in Helsinki. These tubular disorders are shortly discussed and exemplified by some case reports.
