Abstract

By combination of 2 - dimensional echo-encephalography and pulsed Doppler-sonography (= duplex-scan-technique) intracranial malformations of vessels may be diagnosed through the infants open fontanelle without radiation or invasive procedures. As an example this ist shown in a case of aneuryma of vena Galeni.

Zusammenfassung

Mit der kombinierten Anwendung von zweidimensionaler Echo-Encephalographie und gepulster Doppler-Sonographie (= Duplex-Scan-Technik) durch die offene Fontanelle können intracranielle Gefäßmalformationen beim Säugling ohne invasive Maßnahmen oder Strahlenbelastung erkannt werden. Dies wird am Beispiel eines ausgeprägten Aneurysmas der Vena Galeni gezeigt.
