Abstract
This study explored whether examination using PPIVM applied by experienced manual
therapists after the inspection and active movement assessment can have a positive
influence.
PPIVM are not an appropriate tool for rating segmental intervertebral movements when
used as a single examination technique. Therefore they should be used as an assessment
tool for the assessment of the entire lumbar spine’s mobility.
