Zusammenfassung
Es werden die Ergebnisse chirurgischer Behandlung der Otosklerose durch die Technik
des kleinen Fensters in der Fußplatte und den Gebrauch der Piston-Teflon-Prothese
im Zeitraum von 1980 bis 1984 dargestellt. Besonders wurde die Patientengruppe unter
dem 18. Lebensjahr berücksichtigt, die in dieser Abhandlung mit 3,3 Prozent vertreten
ist, sowie die Patienten mit kombinierten Hörverlusten. Bei beiden Gruppen waren die
durch die Operation erzielten Ergebnisse mehr als gut. Bei insgesamt 284 operierten
Ohren wurden 20 Wiederoperationen vorgenommen.
Summary
Results of partial stapedectomy with the formation of small fenestra and the use of
teflon piston prostheses in the period of 1980-1984 are shown. Particular attention
was paid to the group of patients under 18 years of age representing 3.3% of all operated
cases, as well as to patients with combined hearing loss. In both groups, functional
results of surgery were very good. Of the total of 284 operated ears, there were 20
reoperations.
