Die Abgrenzung von postmortalen Artefakten im menschlichen Vestibularapparat ist sehr schwierig. Die vorliegende Untersuchung zeigt elektronenmikroskopische Bilder menschlicher, 2 Stunden postmortal fixierter Zellen der Macula utriculi et sacculi. Verglichen mit einem intravital fixierten Tierexperiment ist der Zilien-verlust besonders auffällig.
