Der Vorteil einer metall- und kalziumfreien Phosphatbindertherapie mit Sevelamer wurde jüngst auf dem Nephrologiekongress in München diskutiert. Das Symposium "Kalzifizierung - das unterschätzte Risiko von Dialysepatienten?" rückte das Problem der Mediasklerose in den Mittelpunkt der Betrachtung.
