Die Arealpunktion führt zu umschriebenen Kalibererweiterungen der Shuntvene, deren
Länge und Lokalisation genau geplant werden können. Mit dieser Technik kann die „Entwicklung”
einer zartkalibrigen Shuntvene sicher unterstützt und ein enges Shuntvenensegment
plastisch erweitert werden.
Area-puncture leads to circumscribed dilatation of fistula vein. Localisation and
length of these dilatations can be planned exactly. With this technique the „development”
of a small fistula vein can be very well supported and a stenotic segment of the fistula
vein can be corrected.
