MR Imaging of the Normal and Abnormal Fifth Cranial Nerve

A presentation of the MR anatomy of the normal fifth cranial nerve, as well as the proximal trunks of the three divisions, will be presented. Thereafter, a selection of unknown pathologies involving this nerve will be given, including neoplastic, inflammatory, vascular, and “idiopathic” entities.
