Despite firm pre-implantologic diagnosis an intra-operative change in therapy is a critical phase in implant surgery even for well-trained surgeon (therapist) as he has to be aware of the consequences for the prosthetic treatment. However, different prosthetic options can avoid or minimize difficult surgical procedures. On the basis of 3 case reports different prosthetic options for the compensation of complications will be shown.
