Zusammenfassung
Der injizierbare Knochenzement Norian SRS besteht aus einem Kalziumphosphat-Gemisch,
das der mineralischen Phase des humanen Knochens entspricht. Unter isothermischen
Bedingungen, bei neutralem pH-Wert, härtet das Gemisch nach wenigen Minuten aus und
besitzt dann eine hohe primäre Kompressionsstabilität und osteokonduktive Eigenschaften.
Der Zement eignet sich zur Auffüllung spongiöser Knochendefekte. Die Anwendung bietet
die Möglichkeit auf einen zusätzlichen Eingriff am Beckenkamm, der mit einer hohen
Spendermorbidität assoziiert ist, zu verzichten. Die hohe primäre Kompressionsstabilität
erlaubt eine frühe Belastung der unteren Extremität ohne das Risiko eines sekundären
Repositionsverlustes. Die Komplikationsrate ist gering. Die Resorptionszeit für den
Zement beträgt mehrere Jahre.
The injectable bone cement Norian SRS consists of a calcium phosphate mixture that
corresponds to the mineral phase of human bone. Under isothermic conditions at neutral
pH, the mixture hardens within a few minutes and then possesses a high primary compressibility
and osteoconductive properties. The cement is suitable for filling spongious bone
defects. This use offers the possibility to avoid the additional intervention at the
iliac crest which is associated with a high donor morbidity. The high primary compressibility
permits early loading of the lower limbs without the risk of a secondary resorption
loss. The rate of complications is low. The resorption time for the cement amounts
to several years.
