Abstract

The essential oils of Majorana syriaca, Coridothymus capitatus and Satureja thymbra plants growing wild in Israel were investigated by means of GLC and GLC-MS. 18 components were identified, the main ones being thymol, carvacrol, γ-terpinene and p-cymene.
