Abstract

The reinvestigation of the medical plants Elephantopus mollis and Centratherum punctatum gave in addition to known compounds further Sesquiterpene lactones. The structures were elucidated by highfield 1H-NMR. The configurations of some germacranolides related to isocentratherin have been revised following the results of NOE difference spectroscopy.
