Zusammenfassung

Reizdarm, funktionelle Dyspepsie oder chronisch-entzündliche Darmerkrankung - charakteristisch ist immer eine ausgeprägte psychische Komponente. Weil sich auch während der Therapie des Reizdarmsyndroms unspezifische Placeboeffekte zeigen, sind Behandlungsstrategien gefragt, welche die Selbstheilungskräfte gezielt aktivieren, z. B. Heilfasten. Chronisch-entzündliche Erkrankungen gehen oft mit gleichzeitigem Mineralstoffdefizit einher. Aus diesem Grund ist eine Ernährungstherapie mit begleitender Mineralstoffsupplementation sinnvoll.
