Zusammenfassung

Arthrose ist weltweit die häufigste Gelenkerkrankung, bei der es zu Verschleiß und Abnutzung des Gelenkknorpels mit anschließenden Knochenveränderungen kommt. Die Folgen sind Schmerzen, Steifheit der Gelenke und Einschränkung der Bewegungsfreiheit. Nichtsteroidale Antirheumatika behandeln nur die Symptome, nicht jedoch die Ursachen. Aus diesem Grund gewinnt die Supplementation mit Knorpelbausteinen wie Glucosamin, Chondroitin und Kollagenhydrolysat immer mehr an Bedeutung.
