Abstract

This article presents three male marathon runners with cystic fibrosis (CF) who successfully completed the New York Marathon 1984 in warm environments in 6.10.33, 4.42.22, and 4.32.15, respectively.

The characteristics of the CF patients and their companions as well as a presentation of their runs are given.
