An endoscopic method for positioning a large-caliber (3.2 mm) biliary endoprosthesis
is described. In 3 patients with malignant jaundice the endoprosthesis provided definitive
relief of jaundice until death 4 1/2, 15 and 17 weeks respectively after the introduction
of the prosthesis.
