Summary
The putative role of protein phosphorylation in modulating adenylate cyclase activity in polymorphonuclear neutrophil membranes was assessed using phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) to stimulate the activity of protein kinase C.
PMA was demonstrated to enhance the adenylate cyclase activity stimulated by isoproterenol.
