Abstract

From the roots of Brosimopsis oblongifolia a new isoprenylated flavone, named 5′-hydroxycudraflavone A (1), together with the known cudraflavone A (2) and cudraflavone B (3) were isolated. Cytotoxic and antimicrobial activity of the compounds were tested.
