Abstract

Eight diterpenoids, trilobinol (1), trilobinone (2), ferruginol, horminone, 7α-acetylroyleanone, 6β-hydroxyroyleanone, virgatol and cryptanol were isolated from the roots of Salvia triloba L. fil. (Labiatae); Trilobinol and trilobinone are new compounds, their structures were established by spectral methods.
