The order of activity was 1 > 2 > 3. This antiplatelet effect is likely to be related to the reported inhibition of cAMP-phosphodiesterase. On the other hand, compounds 1-3 had no effect on blood pressure and heart rate, on microbial growth, or on prostaglandin biosynthesis.
