Abstract

Two new cylcoartane glycosides along with a known compound, 12β-hydroxycimigenol 3-O-α-L-arabinopyranoside, were isolated from the rhizomes of Cimicifuga dahurica (Ranunculaceae). The structures of the new compounds were elucidated as cimigenol 3-O-α-L-arabinopyranoside and 25-O-acetylcimigenol 3-O-α-L-arabinopyranoside on the basis of chemical and spectral evidence.
