Abstract

A new triterpenoid, namely, lanost-25-en-3-β-ol, and two known flavonoids (kaempferol-3,6-dimethyl ether and kaempferol 7-O-glucoside) were isolated from the aerial parts of Chamaesyce prostrate (Euphorbiaceae). The structure of the new compound was established based on spectral evidences.
