ABSTRACT
Rapid advances in technology make it difficult for the practicing audiologist to be
current in all areas of clinical practice. These advances create a need for innovative
models of continuing education (CE). This article profiles three innovative models
in contemporary audiology CE: (1) Audiology Online e-learning, (2) Biologic's Audiology
Centers for Excellence (ACE) and Audiology Centers for Educational Development (ACED),
and (3) a conference on Teaching Audiology: The Art and Science of Teaching Amplification.
