Abstract

(2S)-1-O-Palmitoleyl-3-O-β-D-galactopyranosylglycerol was isolated from the marine alga Oscillatoria rosea. It caused a concentration-dependent inhibition of platelet aggregation induced by U46619. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic analysis and chemical evidence.
