Abstract

Six new compounds, an iridoid glucoside, 6-O-methyl-epiaucubin (1), three iridoids, artselaenins A (3), B (4), C (13), a phenylethanoid glycoside, artselaeroside A (14), and a phenylpropanoid glycoside, artselaeroside B (15), as well as fourteen known compounds, nine iridoid glycosides (2, 5-12) and five phenylpropanoid glycosides (16-20) were isolated from the whole plants (including roots, stems, leaves and flowers) of Pedicularis artselaeri. Their structures were identified mainly by spectral evidence.
