Implantation bei Risikopatienten

Die Implantation ist heutzutage bei den meisten Risikopatienten möglich, wenn im Vorfeld der Behandlung eine individuelle Risikoanalyse durchgeführt und ein Risikoprofil erstellt wird und darauf aufbauend krankheitsspezifische Maßnahmen zur Risikominimierung eingesetzt werden. Somit besteht die Möglichkeit, Patienten mit Diabetes, kardiovaskulären Erkrankungen, Osteoporose, Infektionen und Immunsuppression durch einen implantatverankerten Zahnersatz eine gesteigerte Lebensqualität zu vermitteln.

Insertion of dental implants is possible in most of the risk patients today if an individual risk analysis is carried out preoperatively, a risk profile is drawn up and disease-specific measures are taken to minimize the risk. Therefore treatment of patients with diabetes, cardio-vascular diseases, osteoporosis, infections, and immunodeficiency is possible to reach an increased quality of life using implant-supported dentures.
