Zusammenfassung
Die Aufzeichnung des Krankheitsbildes des vor uns sitzenden Patienten verlangt von
uns Aufmerksamkeit auf das, was der Patient sagt und meint. Wir müssen uns aller Vorurteile
enthalten, solange wir die Äußerungen des Kranken möglichst wörtlich aufschreiben.
Erst wenn das Krankheitsbild aufgezeichnet ist, zeichnen wir die charakteristischen
Züge dieses Bildes aus und suchen in den Symptomenreihen der Arzneien Gegenbilder
möglichst großer Ähnlichkeit zu finden. Von einem Arzneibild kann man deshalb nicht
sprechen, weil in der Symptomenreihe jeder Arznei sehr viele dieser Gegenbilder enthalten
sind. Die Meinung, daß es ein immer zutreffendes einheitliches Arzneibild gäbe, wäre
ein Vorurteil, das der Wahl des Mittels für den gegenwärtigen Patienten nicht zuträglich
wäre.
Summary
The physician should endeavor to trace the image of the patient's natural disease
by writing down his expressions word by word. He should not allow any preconceived
ideas to enter his mind in this phase of the homoeo-pathic conversation. After this
is done, we should elucidate the characteristic features of this image and look for
its antitype among the listed Symptoms of all of the remedies. Each of the remedies
has a long list of Symptoms having been collected from pro-vings and clinical cases
in the course of time. We cannot speak of only one image of a remedy, there are very
many antitypes of pictures of individual diseases to be found among those collections.
The notion of one Single typical image for a remedy would constitute one of the above
mentioned preconceived ideas tending to confuse our choice of the remedy for the pre-sent
patient.
