Zusammenfassung
Auf Beschluß deutscher Ärzte und Laien wurde am 10.4.1835 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, die erste homöopathische Lehreinrichtung der Welt gegründet. Trotz erheblichen Engagements ihrer Stifter war ihr kein langes Bestehen vergönnt. Dennoch trug sie wesentlich zur Ausbreitung der Homöopathie in Nordamerika bei.
Summary
German physicians and laymen passed the fol-lowing resolution to establish a homoeopathic academy. It was the first in the world founded in Allentown, Pennsylvania, April 10th, 1835. In spite of considerable efforts the institution was destined to be shortlived. Nevertheless it promoted the spreading of homoeopathy in Northamerica significantly.
