Die Wahl dieses Mittels wurde durch die Kenntnis des beruflichen Chromkontakts erleichtert; aber die mögliche Intoxikation durch dieses Metall hatte 5 Jahre, bevor die Patientin in homöopathische Behandlung kam, aufgehört. A case of periodic inflammation of the salivary glands since 13 years. The curative remedy was found after having identified the ranula as the most characteristic Symptom of the patient, and after having found it in Kent's Repertory under the rubrik "ranula, periodic" with the two remedies chr-ac. and lyss. The search in the Materia medica of Clark and Hering resulted in a perfect homoeopathicity of the symptomatology of the patient and the remedy. Because the patient had shown a eczematous reaction to her chromed watch bracelet, was the next question about her former occupation. The patient had worked with chroming juwelry. Now the Simile was verified: chr-ac. C 5 was given, 6 times in 3 months. Since then, from 1981 till 1984, no relaps was observed.
