Summary
Among patients treated conventionally for distal radial fractures, there is some evidence that the following risk factors are associated with a poor outcome:

Lower education level

Injury compensation status

Prereduction radial shortening

Prereduction ulnar variance

Lower bone mineral density

Prereduction loss of palmar tilt

Comorbidities
-
Older age
-
Gender
