The article presents homeopathic treatment of three cases of hyperthyroidism. The
cures were performed with so-called “polychrests” (Calcium carbonicum; Sepia; Natrum
muriaticum). After the first case-taking and analysis the similes were not yet spotted.
By staying close to the case and by meticulously performed re-repertorising the healing
remedies were detected. A retrospective view shows that they mostly appeared soon
after the first repertorisation as prominent “second-line” remedies and got their
verification along the follow-ups when new symptoms or information were provided.
