konfektionierten prothetischen Hilfsteile sowie den Teleskop- oder Konuskronen bis
zu den Metall- und Keramikabutments für implantatgetragene Suprakonstruktionen ist
ein ausgezeichnetes Beispiel für die technischen und funktionellen Fortschritte in
Zahnmedizin und Zahntechnik.
Summary
Individual produced and factory made connecting elements between natural or crown
covered teeth and between implants and removable reconstructions belong to the most
important technical aids within oral health care.
Their development from the simple wire clasp - often rightly as „extraction instrument”
- to the casted clasps with retaining and supporting functions to the attachments
produced in series, the telescopic or conical double crowns and the metal or ceramic
abutments on implants is an excellent example for the technical and functional progress
reached in dentistry and dental laboratory technology.
