ABSTRACT

This article outlines the medical oncologist's perspective of the value of radiofrequency ablation, and the treatment of various tumors. A number of studies are described that have been published on the treatment of hepatic, renal, and lung tumors. The authors provide their opinion on the value of radiofrequency ablation to treat such tumors.
