Introduction
Endoscopic therapeutic interventions for oesophagogastric tumours are continuing to evolve. The indications for endoscopic therapy and the devices themselves are continuing to develop. It is important that the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of these strategies should be clearly defined, so that their role in patient management can be established. This article reviews noteworthy literature in this area published between June 2003 and 1 September 2004.
